Report: League of Legends Worlds 2021 will take place in Reykjavik, Iceland

And the event is allegedly planned for October 5 through November 6.

Thanks, Dot Esports.

Following Riot's former announcement that revealed that the League of Legends World Championship would in fact not be taking place in China this year, due to the issues of having teams travel to the country amid growing travel concerns, Riot announced that it would be moving the premier tournament to Europe - although never gave a location or a date.

A recent report from Dot Esports has dished out a bunch of details on the tournament, even going as far as stating that it will be taking place in Reykjavik, Iceland and that it will be set for between October 5 to November 6.

As Riot has yet to make any official announcement, we will have to wait and see if there is any truth to this report, but considering the Mid-Season Invitational was also held in Iceland, returning doesn't seem out of the question at all.
