Report: Nickmercs promised 5% stake in 100 Thieves by Nadeshot

The deal was supposedly made but never upheld by the organisation's owner.

Nick "Nickmercs" Kolcheff has claimed that Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, the owner of esports organisation 100 Thieves, offered him a 5% stake in the team when he joined up, which has since not been upheld. First brought up in a tweet by Daniel "KEEMSTAR" Keem and later clarified by Nickmercs himself when he stated: "ain't no rumour homie. Is what it is."

The claim, which has not officially been addressed by Nadeshot, is seemingly gaining more substance.

It was less than a week ago when Nickmercs announced he would be leaving 100 Thieves, as he stated he wanted to return home to his roots, to be with his family and friends, in a decision supported by the organisation. Although, several months ago, Nickmercs also stated on his stream (and reported by Dotesports) that: "the 100 Theives things is like, meh, you know? Supposed to be a lot different than the way it is today. Lot different."

The complete truth to this matter is yet to be revealed, although you can hope to see an official statement from 100 Thieves soon to bring some clarification on their part. As more information comes out, be sure to check back for more on this story.

What do you think about this claim made by Nickmercs against Nadeshot?
