Riot Games to produce the LCK in 2019

And Riot is opening a dedicated studio at the end of 2018.
Jordan Aldridge-Payne 16 november 2017

The League of Legends Championship Korea is an event that is largely produced by third-party companies. That's all about to change, however, as Riot Games are preparing to take full control of how their popular title is portrayed, bringing it inline with competitions in EU and NA.

Alongside this move, a dedicated studio will be opened in September 2018, ready for 2019. The stadium is said to seat between 400 and 450 fans, and will be known as League of Legends Park.

Whilst a lot is going on behind the scenes, it's unlikely that much else will change in terms of game format and on-screen talent.
