As we're getting ever closer to the end of the Mid-Season Showdown, Riot Games has taken a moment to announce that its fictional metal band Pentakill will in fact be performing at the event's opening ceremonies.
The show that will take place before the grand finals on April 11, will see the band perform a sneak peek of its upcoming track ,live at the Los Angeles Greek Theatre, as it looks to also reveal a collaboration with guitar manufacturer Jackson.
Jackson will be joining the League of Legends Championship Series as the official guitar partner, and Riot has teased that more information regarding this partnership will be unveiled later in the year.
