Riot Games has announced that it will be raising funds for Covid-19 through the sale of some exclusive limited-time items in League of Legends. The fundraiser will run until July 23 and 100% of the money spent on this content will go to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.

Lead Producer, New001, said: " Your donations will support pandemic relief by giving doctors, nurses, and other frontline workers the resources they need to act quickly and protect the most vulnerable. Money raised will also provide critical financial aid to families and individuals who have been negatively impacted by the virus.

The reveal video detailed that bundles purchased for Surgeon Shen, Nurse Akali, and Kennan M.D would all contribute towards the fundraising effort. There's a Mega Donor Bundle too, which includes all noted bundles, as well as an exclusive Mega Donor Icon.
