Spirits were certainly lifted in the Schalke 04 camp over the weekend as the team was able to secure its first victory in the LEC Summer Split. The LoL team had previously suffered eight consecutive losses but were able to pull a win out of the bag when they faced off against Fnatic on Saturday.
Despite the team's victory, they are currently sitting at last place within the competition. Both Team Vitality and exceL eSports who sit above in joint ninth place lead by quite a margin as they have both accumulated four victories. Only time will tell whether Schalke can continue this recent success when they play against Rogue July 18.
