Sign up for the Pokémon European International championships

Last chance for you to be a part of the new competitive Pokémon season.
Sammy Cooper 6 december 2016

The new Pokémon competitive season is starting up this weekend, and it will be the first time we've seen Sun and Moon at a major event. If you're only just now hearing about the tournament and think you've got the mettle to go up against some of the best, worry not, as you've still got a chance to sign up.

The tournament is to be held in London's ExCeL Exhibition Center on the 9-11 December, and will be the very first tournament that kicks off the 2017 season, where the main feature will be the brand new Sun/Moon.

There will be a prize pool of up to $250,000, and will feature both the video game and card game. There's also going to be a record-breaking TCG mosaic on display, which is the first time the display has been in the UK.

In order to sign up, you need to provide your Player ID, and be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program. There are a few fees to consider, but if you think you can make it far in the tournament you can check it out here. You also need to have a trainer club account on the official Pokémon website.
