SK Gaming has announced that it is adding Motorola as its smartphone partner for the next year and a half. The deal will see Motorola support SK's mobile gaming teams, including the Clash Royale and Brawl Stars roster, alongside its other pro players, content creators, and staff members.

"The universe of gaming is vast and outside of it, outdated stereotypes prevail," said Chong-Won Lim, head of marketing at Motorola Germany. "Today's gaming story is shaped by young, athletic and ambitious people who turn their hobby into a profession. They actively use social media and events so that they can also share their passion with fans and all gaming enthusiasts. The technological possibilities connect and inspire gamers worldwide, creating a community of new, fresh values in which everyone is welcome and accepted."

As part of the deal, SK and Motorola will host a series of mobile tournaments together, many of which are planned to take place at the Saturn XPERION Arena in Cologne, Germany, SK's hometown.

There has been no mention of the financials of the deal.
