It was time for celebrations for Team Spirit this weekend, as they won Dota 2 Champions League season one and took home the grand prize of $10,000 from the $25,000 prize pool.
Team Spirit were given direct access to the playoffs and played flawlessly throughout. In their first match, the team defeated Team Unique 2-0, and then High Coast Esports 2-1, before dominating Vikin.gg in the grand final 2-0.
Behind Team Spirit, Vikin.gg earned $5,000 for finishing in second and Brame and High Coast Esports earned $2,500 for finishing third and fourth, respectively.
