The rising interest in Indian esports draws another big organisation to its shores.

The French esports organisation, Team Vitality is eyeing up India for its next round of expansions. Reported by AFK Gaming, it has been noted that Vitality teased an announcement for this movement, after a hint was released on Twitter reading "Bonjour India." A second tease has also been noted, seeing a Team Vitality India Instagram page pop-up, giving further substance to the announcement.

India is a country with a surging interest in both gaming and esports, and Team Vitality has noticed this, making suggestions to a potential expansion to the Indian scene since last November. Vitality's CEO, Nicholas Maurer spoke to The Esports Journal about this saying:

"We are totally convinced that there's a lot of potential in India, because there is a very big interest, not only in esports, but in gaming. A lot of people are very passionate there, but it's hard to predict the time it takes for a European brand to be seen as legitimate to an Indian audience."

With Indian esports becoming ever more popular, other big-name organisations have been drawn to the scene, such as the likes of Fnatic, Team SoloMid and Noble Esports. With Team Vitality also looking toward this direction, which esports would you like to see the team enter in India?
