The finalists are set for ECS, the Counter-Strike league co-held by FaceIt and streaming service Twitch. Eight teams will head to London to duke it out in the Wembley Arena, a venue that can seat more than 10,000 people.
From Europe, Astralis and G2 have both auto-qualified for the finals as they finished in the top 2 of the ECS group stage. Joining them are Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas, who earned their spots by winning the qualifier pracket held for for the teams that placed 3rd-6th in the group stage.
Similarly, Luminosity Gaming and Cloud9 finished top 2 in the NA division of the league. They'll be joined by Team Liquid and Team SoloMid, who made it through the qualifier bracket.
Details about prize money distribution haven't been revealed yet, but back when ECS launched, the league promised payouts of $3.5 million in prizes and team support. That figure covers more than just the first season, though.
