Tempo Storm signs a PUBG team

They all have competitive experience.
Sam Bishop 17 augustus 2017

Esports organisation Tempo Storm have announced that they are forming a PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds team, signing the Pure RNG team, who are first in North America in all-time points on the Showdown Series leaderboard.

Those in the team are Keane 'Valliate' Alonso, Diondre 'YaBoiDre' Bond, Luke 'Meluke' Laing, and Randy 'Randingo' Joiner, and these will be joined by Trey 'Afflux' Bourne as a coach, who started his career in Halo 2 before captaining various teams in games such as Paladins, Call of Duty, and Overwatch semi-professionally. In fact, all of the roster has past experience with competitive gaming, which should no doubt help them moving forward.

Tempo Storm aren't the first team to enter the growing esports scene for the game, though, as Team Liquid has done the same. It'll be interesting to see if more get on board too, as there's an invitational coming up at Gamescom which should be an interesting indicator of how well it'll work.

Will more teams and players get into PUBG esports?
