Texas Showdown 2020 scrapped due to Covid-19

The event will no longer be going ahead but registrations are planned to be valid for its successor in 2021.

Texas Showdown 2020 will no longer be going ahead due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which continues to devastate the US. The event was initially delayed until Labor Day (Sept 4 - 6), but due to the ongoing situation, it has now been pulled to ensure the safety of all who planned to attend.

Event organisers are reportedly in talks to secure the Hilton Post Oak again to hold the event in April 2021. All registrations for 2020 are planned to be valid for the 2021 event, but the option is available for refunds.

The organisers revealed too in the same post that they will be announcing a way for fans to offer support in the coming weeks. They concluded the post stating: "We will be back when the world is a little safer for us".
