The Madden NFL Club Championship has been revealed

Pitting 32 players, representing NFL teams, against each other.
Sam Bishop 22 augustus 2017

EA and Madden have unveiled the Madden NFL Club Championship, an esports initiative whereby players can represent their favourite American football teams much like in the FIFA Interactive Club World Cup, involving all of the NFL's teams, of which there are 32.

The first phase is Online Ranked Ladders, where you can register for your team and play against others in MUT Salary Cap and MUT Champions to climb a leaderboard, with the top competitors advancing to the second phase, Online Elimination. This will see 512 players (half for each platform, 16 per club) face off in an online group stage. After that, Club Finals will then take place, where four competitors per club will earn a place in that club's finals, with events taking place in different venues depending on teams.

Then comes the big event, as 32 club winners are then entered into the Club Championship itself, where they will compete for their share of the $403,000 USD prize pool in a single elimination tournament. If you think this could be you, then head over here to register.

Can this reproduce the thrill of the NFL?
