ESL has announced that the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) will return in 2021. The event is set to begin on January 19 with the Spring Split and will feature a 1 million SEK prize pool for said split, to support the attending teams. Further information for the Spring Split is as follows:

January 19 will mark the start of the Spring Split with a group stage lasting five weeks, where each participating team will face two matches a week, with live broadcasts available on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm CET / 6pm GMT.

March 2 - 21 will see playoffs take place, where four teams from each group stage advance.

March 22 - 24 is the relegation series that sees the top two teams from the Telia Esports Series Masters (the tournament tier below NLC) face-off against the bottom two teams from the NLC. The two winning teams in the relegation series secure a spot in the Summer Split for 2021.

While it might still be over a month before any competition takes place, make sure to take note of where to catch the action right here, when the NLC kicks-off on January 19, 2021.
