The former G2 player has experience with European League of Legends, and head coach Dylan Falco says this is why he was signed.

FC Schalke 04 Esports, the competitive gaming division of the German football club, has revealed that they've signed Kim 'Trick' Gang-yun to their League of Legends team competition in the European Championship (LEC).

"We decided to add an extra option to our League of Legends squad. Therefore, we were looking for a player who already proved himself at the highest level. [Trick] is an exceptional athlete with great potential and a high level of gaming intelligence. He also knows the European League of Legends competition. With his skills and rich experience, he will help us to continue to improve," said Dylan Falco, Head Coach.

Trick played for G2 Esports between 2015 and 2017, so he has experience with the European scene, and can bring his experience with Galakticos and BBQ Olivers to the table as well, since he's played on both of those teams since being at G2.

Is Trick a good addition to Schalke's team?
