We're just over a week away from the 2022 Six Invitational starting, and with that in mind, Ubisoft has now revealed the groups for the premier Rainbow Six: Siege event. We now know which teams will be facing each other in the first round of the tournament, and likewise, how this year's format will work. Here are the groups.
Group A:
- MNM Gaming
- Ninjas in Pyjamas
- Sandbox Gaming
- Soniqs
- Team Empire
Group B:
- Cyclops athlete gaming
- FaZe Clan
- Rogue
- Spacestation Gaming
- Team Liquid
Group C:
- DarkZero Esports
- Elevate
- Furia Esports
- Team BDS
- TSM
Group D:
- Damwon Gaming
- Natus Vincere
- Oxygen Esports
- TBD Latin American team
- Team oNe eSports
As for how the format will work, Ubisoft also shared in a tweet that the group stage will use a best-of-three single round-robin format, and that the top four teams from each group will move forward into the playoffs, which will use a best-of-three double-elimination bracket. The grand finals will be a best-of-five with no map advantage.
