Virtus.pro forms a brand new LoL roster

Three players are permanent, and the other two are stand-ins.

Virtus.pro have announced via Facebook that they are returning to League of Legends with a brand new team which will compete in the LCL Open Cup and the next season of the LoL Continental League this month.

The new roster has three official players, including Ivan "Paranoia" Tipukhov as mid, who is formerly of Tornado RoX, Daniel "Blasting" Kudrin as Carry, who used to play for Team Just, and supporting them will be Alexander "SaNTaS" Lifashin. Two stand-ins complete the roster, those being top lane player Rafael "Doxy" Adl Zarabi and jungle player Jonathan "SezzeR" Villebrom, the latter of which spent the whole summer with SK Gaming.

Virtus.pro's General Manager Roman Dvoryankin had this to say about the new roster: "Riot Games are systematically developing the League of Legends in CIS countries. As the region's leading organisation, we can't stay outside of that process. However, we remain focused on our key disciplines: CS:GO, where we have the best team in the world, and a Dota 2 roster, which have most recently showed prominent performance on the EU qualifiers for The Boston Major. We're entering the LCL with a young squad consisting of promising players. I'm sure that they will be able to show solid results in the second half of the year, if a correct approach will be taken".

How well do you think this new team will do, despite not all positions being permanent?
