The Spanish esports organisation Vodafone Giants has added Hot Wheels as a sponsor for its Rocket League team. The toy brand will now be present on the Giants socials and broadcast channels and the team will even wear the Hot Wheels logo on its jersey.

"This alliance is a clear step forward," said Lisardo Morán , COO & Brand Manager of Vodafone Giants. "For several reasons: because of what it means to go hand in hand with an iconic brand such as Hot Wheels; because it represents another leap forward in a game with great potential and growing popularity like Rocket League; and because, once again, we share the path with a company with which we share spirit and values. We are convinced that this is only the beginning."

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Hot Wheels and Vodafone Giants will be creating the Giants Rocket League Academy by Hot Wheels, as a way to encourage its community to become more involved in the Rocket League scene.

Hot Wheels is also soon releasing a new game, created by Milestone, called Hot Wheels Unleashed. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
