Washington Justice drops Fury, signs Kalios

The Overwatch League team is switching out its flex tanks.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 7 december 2021

The Washington Justice Overwatch League has made the announcement that it is switching up its flex tank players, as it has released Jun-ho "Fury" Kim and picked up Shin "Kalios" Woo-yeol in his place.

Revealed over Twitter, the Justice gave the reason for the release of Fury as: "A leader in and out of the game, Fury inspired the team to work harder than ever before. We're happy he's able to continue his Professional Overwatch career while being closer to his family in Korea and wish him the best."

There's no mention as to which team Fury will next be competing for, but with the Overwatch League set to return in April 2022, there's still plenty of time for the tank player to sign with a new roster.

As for the pick up of Kalios, all that the Justice had to say was: "@OW_Kalios brings the fast paced decision making necessary for success in Overwatch 2!"
