Zelda: Breath of the Wild wint GOTY op The Game Awards

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is gisternacht tijdens The Game Awards verkozen tot Game of the Year, de game won ook de award voor Best Game Direction.

De andere games die meerdere awards wonnen waren Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (Best Performance by Melina Juergens, Audio Design, and Impact) en Cuphead (Art Direction, Independent, and Independent Debut). De grote "verliezer" lijkt Horizon Zero Dawn te zijn, die zonder een award naar huis ging.
